Server

A server that runs your agents.

A Linux box, a cloud VM or a Mac mini in a rack: add it from the app and your chats can run there, around the clock. You follow them from your computer, your phone or any browser.

Linux (x64, Arm, Alpine) · macOS (Apple silicon) · Windows

Settings › Devices › Add device in Shuriken, with A server chosen and the steps to add it.

Made to run unattended

  • Runs as a service

It starts with the machine and restarts on its own. Nobody needs to be signed in on it.

  • Signed updates

It updates itself when a release is out, only to a release our key signed, and waits until no agent is mid-turn.

  • Chats run there

Start a chat on the server from any device, or move one there, and finish it with checks, a merge or a pull request.

  • Your accounts follow

Your sources and global MCPs reach the server end-to-end encrypted, so switching works there too.

How it works

From the app, in a minute.

  1. Add a device

In the app, open Settings › Devices › Add device and choose A server.

  2. Pick its system

Linux, macOS or Windows. The app gives you that system's steps, made for your account and valid for an hour.

  3. It joins by itself

The server signs in on its own, named after the machine, and shows up in your devices.

  4. Run chats on it

Pick it when you start a chat, from your computer, phone or browser.
