No more waitlist: you're a Founding member

On 21 October 2026 the waitlist ended: everyone who signed up before launch, by account or email, gets Pro at no charge for as long as Shuriken runs.

On 21 October 2026 we removed the waitlist. If you were on it, you're not waiting any more: you're a Founding member, and you get Pro at no charge, for as long as Shuriken runs.

Who counts#

Everyone who signed up before launch:

  • With an account: it's already a Founding account. Nothing to click.
  • With just an email address: you're Founding too. Sign up with that address, and the account starts as Founding.

Accounts made after launch start with 14 days of Pro, free and with no card, one trial per person. After that they are on Free, which is a plan and not a trial: two sources, two linked devices, every coding agent, no card.

Why we dropped the waitlist#

A waitlist is a polite "not yet". The people on ours said yes to Shuriken when there wasn't much to look at, and making them queue a second time at launch seemed backwards to us. So the list became a plan. At launch there are two plans, Free and Pro, and Founding for the people who were here first.

What Founding includes#

Founding is Pro, without the price. That means everything Free has, and then:

  • Unlimited sources. Add every Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other account or API key you own and are entitled to use. Source switching moves your chats between them when one runs low.
  • Unlimited linked devices. Every computer and server you run agents on. (Browsers never counted anyway.)
  • Shared projects (beta). Invite a friend into one of your projects' chats and queue. An opt-in beta in 5.1: you both turn it on in Settings › Projects.

Pro is €49 a month or €490 a year (2 months free), VAT included for EU consumers. Founding members pay neither, and never add a card. The full comparison is on the pricing page.

What Free gets, for everyone else#

We don't want Founding to read as "the early people got the good version". Free is a real plan, and most of what makes Shuriken useful is in it:

  • all 67 coding agents, with the sign-ins you already have;
  • automatic source switching and 5-hour clocks;
  • Global MCPs: sign in to a server once, use it in every project;
  • parallel agents with a branch per chat, and no cap from us;
  • the built-in browser with Design mode, voice, and Open in your editor;
  • your phone through the web app.

What Free limits is the count: two sources and two linked devices. Founding, like Pro, lifts both.

"For as long as Shuriken runs"#

We picked those words on purpose. Not "for a year", not "for early adopters while stocks last". If Shuriken is running, your Founding account is Pro.

The website before launch#

On 21 October, shuriken.sh was a short coming-soon page with a Sign in button and nothing else. Sign-up and payments stayed shut until launch on purpose: we were rebuilding the site into a page per feature, and we wanted to open the doors once.

The doors opened at the public launch. If you already have an account, sign in and carry on. If you're one of the email-only Founding members, sign up with the address you gave us. Questions about your plan are answered in the FAQ, and the app is one click away on shuriken.sh.
